Here at "Winding Road" horses are kept in individual pens with slab fencing for windbreak and to keep horses from fighting with one another. Between the pens I have about a 100L by 70W foot outdoor arena and on the west end I have a 50 foot round pen which opens to the arena. Then I can just open the gate of the round pen and ride in the arena making sure I have enough control of the horse. I also have a 30x40 barn where I tack up the horses. Plus there is lots of fields and bush around to ride the horses in. There is also an obstacle course for the young horses to ride through.
